  • Why is laser therapy effective?

Laser therapy uses specific laser light energy to target damaged tissues. By working at the cellular level, it is able to stimulate metabolism in the cell. This helps to encourage repair and growth while decreasing inflammation and pain and preventing scar tissue. Laser therapy can be combined with PulStar and other treatment methods to produce significant results that help accelerate and pain relief recovery. The procedure takes about five to 15 minutes.

  • Does laser therapy hurt?

Laser therapy is not painful. Patients will experience no or very mild sensation, which usually manifests in a warmth or tingling feeling.

  • Are there any side effects or risks?

There are very few side effects associated with laser therapy, unless you are allergic to the laser, in which case you may experience a rash or blister that will go away in a few days. Once in a while, a patient may experience discomfort for a few days due to stimulation of old injuries or conditions.

  • How often should patients receive laser therapy?

Patients with more minor injuries should receive one to six treatments, while those with more chronic, severe conditions may require 10-15 or even more treatments. Chronic conditions are best relieved by receiving laser treatment two to three times a week at first, then reduction to once a week or every other week once the patient begins to feel relief.

  • How many treatments does a patient need to experience improvement?

You may experience decreased pain after the first treatment. However, it may require a few sessions before you feel the difference.

  • Can laser treatment be combined with other treatment?

Yes. Laser therapy can be utilized along with other chiropractic treatments, including adjustments, physical therapy, electrotherapy, and more. By combining laser with other methods, recovery speed and level of pain relief are increased.

Throughout the World, laser therapy is used to treat acute/chronic pain, arthritis and stiffness all by working naturally.
